Yup, it's an "About Me" page. Which means I should actually tell you about me!
I love to bake. I bet that isn't much of a shocker for you. I learned to bake from my mother, who learned it from her mother. In fact, to this day we get together once a year and have a crazy baking day. One year I'll take my girls.
Oddly enough, I can't cook very well unless the recipe calls for baking (like Macaroni and Cheese). I've been known to toss complete dinners from the disasters I've made. But when I bake, it comes out wonderfully (most of the time, anyway!)
In September 2010, A Year of Baking began. It's had a bit of a rocky start, not quite blogging daily, but I'm getting there. Most of the recipes would be considered dessert-type foods, although if you are looking for something for dinner, we've got a section for you too! Mostly, if you stick it in the oven and bake it, it could very well end up here.
